1 Corinthians 10:31

Welcome to MyShareKit. A place where we can share our AmpKit setups. I love AmpKit, a guitar app for the iPhone and iPad, and was looking around to see if I could find any AmpKit setups that people are sharing and there were none, so I thought I would make a place where we all can share our setups and sounds.

In order to keep the site running, if you find that this site is of any benefit to you, *cough* *cough*, if you can contribute anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything... Rock on!

Don't listen to too much British stuff, but this came to me as having a "british" sound.

This is just my attempt at getting his overall sound, the effects are used sparingly throughout different songs but this is as close as I can get.

This is a close proximity to the type of tone Peter Buck got on much of the album Monster. Always struggled to get a similar sounding tone with actual amps and pedals so this is much closer.

I've been using this as a live preset with my deathmetal/metalcore band, A Trigger to Forget......... This is a death metal/metalcore/thrash metal bass preset. If you're looking for a strong low sound with just the right amount of overdrive and treble (e.g., lamb of god, in flames, jason newsted), this preset is perfect for you................. You might experience problems with feedback. I was able to avoid feeback with a slightly lower volume and by using an additional noise gate pedal - or the Rocktron noise reduction pedal.... I've noticed that feedback problems might be directly related to treble gain. The lower the treble, the lower the feedback. This might also depend on the type of sound projection you are using (e.g., headphones or an actual amp) ............. The preset is also modeled for those with a heavy hand. The harder you hit the strings, the more distorted and heavier you'll sound.......... Feel free to email me if you have questions or just want to share ideas on presets - benevides.rafael "@" gmail.com

My attempt at the fabled 'Still Got The Blues' tone from the late, great Gary Moore. Legend has it that it was simply a cranked JTM 45 with a boost from a Guvnor pedal and, of course a famous '59 Les Paul. I saw Gary a few times. The first time was during his Soldano phase and after that he always used DSL Marshalls. The tone was always that distinctive, incendiary, Gary Moore tone, which seems to back up the 'it's all in the fingers' theory. What fingers the great man had! I went with the 'eleveniser' mainly because there isn't a MKI Guvnor option but Gary often changed his drive pedals. I hope you think it's some where near. Enjoy!
