1 Corinthians 10:31

Welcome to MyShareKit. A place where we can share our AmpKit setups. I love AmpKit, a guitar app for the iPhone and iPad, and was looking around to see if I could find any AmpKit setups that people are sharing and there were none, so I thought I would make a place where we all can share our setups and sounds.

In order to keep the site running, if you find that this site is of any benefit to you, *cough* *cough*, if you can contribute anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything... Rock on!

A modification of the stock Trace Bass preset slightly toned down for my Music Man bass, which has an active pickup. It works well with the Apogee Jam input, but hasn't been tested with the LiNK or iRig.

I'll be honest, this doesn't sound anything like Bootsy. I just had him in mind while I tried to get AmpKit sound as synthy as I could get it. I experimented with the phaser... but it added too much noise... I'm not sure why. I like this tone anyway. As with most octavers/synths: You have to play a little slower and a little more precisely so that the octaver can track your signal. If you get sloppy or play way too fast the octaver will stutter or will loose tracking.

This was an experiment to get a really distorted sound that wasn't thin. I am still having a small issue getting the iPad/AmpKit to make bass sound FAT, but I think it does a nice job with punk rock/metal distortion. Named after Fozzy Bear.

This is perhaps my favorite go-to blues tone on my arsenal. Whether you jam on chords with the bridge pickup or switch to the neck pup and dial the tone back, this is one incredible tone if I do say so myself!

This is a variation of my "Master! Master!" rig... basically just an Octapuss pedal tacked onto the end of the chain. Turn the Octapuss off and you have "Master! Master!" all over again, no need to download both. With the Octapuss at the end of the pedal chain, you can still pull off power chords without them sounding too muddied the way they would if the pedal appeared earlier in the chain. For anyone looking for metal with that certain "something" extra... that certain edge... this is your rig. This is one of the heaviest things I've ever heard. Perfect for that Cannibal Corpse classic, "Hammer Smashed Face"!
