1 Corinthians 10:31

Welcome to MyShareKit. A place where we can share our AmpKit setups. I love AmpKit, a guitar app for the iPhone and iPad, and was looking around to see if I could find any AmpKit setups that people are sharing and there were none, so I thought I would make a place where we all can share our setups and sounds.

In order to keep the site running, if you find that this site is of any benefit to you, *cough* *cough*, if you can contribute anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything... Rock on!

My attempt at the fabled 'Still Got The Blues' tone from the late, great Gary Moore. Legend has it that it was simply a cranked JTM 45 with a boost from a Guvnor pedal and, of course a famous '59 Les Paul. I saw Gary a few times. The first time was during his Soldano phase and after that he always used DSL Marshalls. The tone was always that distinctive, incendiary, Gary Moore tone, which seems to back up the 'it's all in the fingers' theory. What fingers the great man had! I went with the 'eleveniser' mainly because there isn't a MKI Guvnor option but Gary often changed his drive pedals. I hope you think it's some where near. Enjoy!

I've Gone for the live tone George used around the time he was in Dokken. I saw a Youtube vid of his tech giving a tour of George's gear and they had a close up of 'that' Marshall George is so fond of. I noted his preferred settings and used them as a starting point. I then added a little modulated delay for an '80's vibe. I think it's pretty close. It's a cool tone for dropped D riffing.

Gone for the Fargen Olde 800 and just done what Eddie does and max every dial. I use the modulated delay to give a little phase 90 vibe. I've tweaked a little. Gone is the juicer and I've altered the fx levels a little.

My stab at the live Clapton tone from the 'Live Cream' album.

Trace Elliot 1215, 4x10 American Bass King, Noise Gate, Rocktron Cottonmouth Fuzz, Rocktron Zombie Rectified Distortion, Rocktron HUSH, Broadcast 20

This AmpKit setup includes the Rocktron Cottonmouth Fuzz and Rocktron Zombie Distortion. This is primarily for bassists to get a sound closer to that of a distorted guitar while still maintaining some low end.

A modification of the stock Trace Bass preset slightly toned down for my Music Man bass, which has an active pickup. It works well with the Apogee Jam input, but hasn't been tested with the LiNK or iRig.

I was playing with the 6505 head and wanted a deep, chunky, hi-gain metal tone for practice
