Artist: Gary Moore
Submitted By: jackeb Required Gear: Fargen Olde 800, 4x12 Colonel 900, Noise Gate, Elevenizer, Echology, Workhorse 57 My attempt at the fabled 'Still Got The Blues' tone from the late, great Gary Moore. Legend has it that it was simply a cranked JTM 45 with a boost from a Guvnor pedal and, of course a famous '59 Les Paul. I saw Gary a few times. The first time was during his Soldano phase and after that he always used DSL Marshalls. The tone was always that distinctive, incendiary, Gary Moore tone, which seems to back up the 'it's all in the fingers' theory. What fingers the great man had! I went with the 'eleveniser' mainly because there isn't a MKI Guvnor option but Gary often changed his drive pedals. I hope you think it's some where near. Enjoy!

Artist: George Lynch
Submitted By: jackeb Required Gear: Fargen Olde 800, 4x12 Colonel 900, Noise Gate, Elevenizer, D-Delay, Workhorse 57 I've Gone for the live tone George used around the time he was in Dokken. I saw a Youtube vid of his tech giving a tour of George's gear and they had a close up of 'that' Marshall George is so fond of. I noted his preferred settings and used them as a starting point. I then added a little modulated delay for an '80's vibe. I think it's pretty close. It's a cool tone for dropped D riffing.

I use the modulated delay to give a little phase 90 vibe. I've tweaked a little. Gone is the juicer and I've altered the fx levels a little.

It works well with the Apogee Jam input, but hasn't been tested with the LiNK or iRig.
